The objective of the Counseling Services offered by the Charter School is to provide supportive counseling to adolescents while at school helping them to succeed socially and academically.

Services available to your child include:

  • Social Skills Group
  • Divorce Group
  • Anger Management Group
  • Grief/Loss Group
  • Stress Management Group
  • Individual Counseling
  • IEP Mandated Counseling

The Counseling Services also include:

  • Peer mediation/conflict resolution
  • Crisis intervention
  • Support groups for parents of students with ADD/ADHD
  • Referral services for private counseling and community resources
  • Random Acts of Kindness Program

At the Charter School, any reports of bullying are immediately addressed by the School Counselor and the Vice Principal in charge of Discipline.

A student must have a signed consent form on file (see attachment below) to make a one-time appointment with the counselor. Parents will be contacted for consent and further information in the event a student requests weekly counseling services.
